SMS Terms and Text Messaging Policy
Effective Date: June 8, 2026. These terms describe how Mastaba Roofing communicates with customers by SMS text message, including how to opt in, opt out, and what to expect.
Quick Summary: Mastaba Homes LLC (doing business as Mastaba Roofing) sends SMS messages only to customers who initiated contact with us and gave consent. Messages relate directly to your roofing project. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number with third parties for marketing.
1. Who We Are
These SMS Terms apply to text messages sent or received by Mastaba Homes LLC, a New York limited liability company doing business as Mastaba Roofing (referred to as "we," "us," "our," or "Mastaba Roofing"). Our principal business address is 250 Chase Valley Rd, Broadalbin, NY 12025. We are a fully insured residential and commercial roofing contractor serving Albany and the Capital Region of New York with 15+ years of experience.
2. About Our SMS Program
Our SMS program is strictly conversational and customer care focused. We use SMS to communicate one-to-one with prospects and customers who reached out to us first by submitting a web form on our website or by calling one of our tracking phone numbers. We do not send promotional or marketing campaigns to lists. We do not buy, rent, or trade phone numbers.
3. Types of Messages You May Receive
If you have opted in, you may receive messages from us in any of the following categories:
- Quote and estimate replies: Responses to the inquiry you submitted, including pricing, scope clarifications, and follow up questions about your roof.
- Appointment scheduling: Coordinating a time for our team to visit your property for an inspection or estimate.
- Project status updates: Information about material delivery, crew scheduling, weather delays, and progress while your project is underway.
- Arrival notifications: "On the way" messages letting you know when our crew is heading to your property.
- Follow-up after completion: Checking in to confirm your satisfaction, sharing warranty information, and answering questions about the work performed.
We do not send mass marketing texts, sweepstakes, contests, third-party promotions, or messages unrelated to your specific project.
4. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. Most customers receive up to 8 messages over the lifetime of their project. Frequency depends on whether you have follow-up questions, the size and duration of your project, and the level of communication you prefer. Some customers receive fewer than 5 messages total. We do not send unsolicited recurring messages.
5. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Mastaba Roofing does not charge you for SMS messages. However, your wireless carrier may charge fees for sending or receiving text messages based on your plan. Please consult your wireless carrier for details about your specific plan and any applicable charges.
6. How to Opt In
You can opt in to receive SMS messages from Mastaba Roofing in the following way:
- Web form consent: When you submit our contact form at mastabaroofing.com/contact or our free estimate request form, you may check a clearly labeled, optional box that authorizes us to text the phone number you provided. The box is not pre-checked. You can submit the form without checking it, and we will respond by phone or email only.
Opt-in consent is recorded and stored with your inquiry. You may withdraw consent at any time by following the opt-out instructions below.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service from Mastaba Roofing.
7. How to Opt Out
You can stop receiving SMS messages from Mastaba Roofing at any time by replying with any of the following keywords to a message from us:
Keywords are not case sensitive. After we receive your opt-out request, you will receive one final confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed, and no further SMS messages will be sent from our program. You may also opt out at any time by emailing mastabahomesllc@gmail.com with "STOP SMS" in the subject line.
If you opt out and later want to resume messages, you must opt in again through our web form or by contacting us.

- Reply HELP to any message from us. You will receive an automated response with our contact information and a reminder that you can reply STOP to opt out.

9. Hours of Outbound Contact
We restrict outbound SMS messages to 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM local time in the recipient's time zone, consistent with industry best practices and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). You may message us at any time within our business hours of Monday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and we will reply during outbound hours.
10. Supported Carriers
Our SMS program is available on all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, Cricket Wireless, and most MVNOs. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
11. Privacy and Your Mobile Information
We collect and use the phone number you provide, along with the content of SMS messages exchanged with us, to deliver the services described above. Our messaging platform is provided by CallRail, our third-party SMS vendor. CallRail processes messages on our behalf and is contractually required to protect your information.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information that you provide to us through SMS, including your phone number and message content, is not sold, rented, traded, or otherwise disclosed to third parties for their marketing, promotional, or analytics purposes.

12. Changes to These SMS Terms
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If we make material changes to our program, we will notify active subscribers by SMS at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of our SMS program after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
